Blizzard, by William Carlos Williams

One of the imagists, to whom we owe much of modern poetry.

Snow falls:
years of anger following
hours that float idly down —
the blizzard
drifts its weight
deeper and deeper for three days
or sixty years, eh? Then
the sun! a clutter of
yellow and blue flakes —
Hairy looking trees stand out
in long alleys
over a wild solitude.
The man turns and there —
his solitary track stretched out
upon the world.

I was wondering if you ever considered changing the layout of your website?

Its very well written; I love what youve got to say. But maybe you
could a little more in the way of content so people could connect
with it better. Youve got an awful lot of text for only having 1
or two images. Maybe you could space it out better?

    • Thanks for the suggestion. I have considered changing it, and I still am, but not in the direction of reducing the proportion of text; after all, that’s what it’s all about. What do you have in mind?
